When you request recommendations or apply as a vendor, we may collect contact information, event details, budget information, service preferences, business information, and other details you choose to submit.
How we use it
We use submitted information to operate The Short List, respond to requests, identify relevant vendors, improve matching, prevent misuse, and understand demand. We may share relevant event details with a limited number of potential vendor matches when needed to evaluate availability or fit.
Vendor introductions
The Short List is a referral and discovery service. If we introduce you to a vendor, subsequent communications, contracts, payments and service delivery may occur directly between you and that vendor.
Analytics
We may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand site traffic, form starts, completed requests and other aggregate usage. The production analytics provider should be identified here once selected.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only as reasonably needed for operating the service, legal compliance, fraud prevention and legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of information you submitted by contacting the email address published on the live site.
